Integrated Steering Meets Dual Prop Power at 350 HP

The Suzuki DF350AMD is a 4390 cc V6 four-stroke outboard rated at 350 hp across a 5700-6300 rpm full-throttle operating range, the flagship of Suzuki’s entire outboard lineup at 350 hp. Suzuki builds it around the Suzuki Dual Propeller System, Suzuki Precision Control, Suzuki’s first Integrated Steering System, a redesigned gear case, a Dual Injector fuel system and Variable Valve Timing.

Powerful and efficient. The DF350AMD is built around the same 4390 cc 55-degree V6 DOHC 24-valve powerhead and contra-rotating Suzuki Dual Propeller System as the DF350A, and adds Suzuki’s first Integrated Steering System — a hydraulic steering actuator built into the outboard itself, with no external steering cylinder to interfere with the transom or catch on the way up when the motor tilts. The redesigned gear case that comes with it improves gear oil circulation, cuts fluid capacity from 3.2 L to 2.8 L, reduces frontal area by about 4%, and adds a service passage that does not require lifting the boat.

Easy to live with. Suzuki Precision Control is a computer-based drive-by-wire throttle and shift system that eliminates the friction and resistance of mechanical control cables, for smooth, crisp shifting that is most noticeable at low rpm while docking and maneuvering. A Dual Injector fuel system atomizes fuel more finely and cools the combustion chamber to suppress knock, and Variable Valve Timing adds low- and mid-range torque without giving up top end. A knock sensor feeds the ECM real-time combustion data to manage timing precisely.

Built for saltwater. Suzuki’s Anti-Corrosion System applies a multi-layer finish — an epoxy primer, an acrylic basecoat and a clear topcoat — bonded directly to the outboard’s aluminum surface for protection in fresh and saltwater alike. The DF350AMD is offered in Pearl Nebular Black or White.

  • Suzuki’s first Integrated Steering System: hydraulic steering built into the outboard, no external cylinder
  • Redesigned gear case: improved oil circulation, reduced fluid capacity, serviceable without lifting the boat
  • Suzuki Dual Propeller System: contra-rotating propellers on a smaller, more hydrodynamic gear case
  • Suzuki Precision Control electronic throttle and shift standard
  • Dual Injector fuel system and Variable Valve Timing for added low- and mid-range torque
  • 2-Stage Gear Reduction, 2.29:1 gear ratio
  • Electric start (Suzuki Start System) and power trim and tilt standard, 776 lb dry weight

Rigging. The DF350AMD is rigged to order, Suzuki Precision Control only, in Pearl Nebular Black or White, with a 25 in or 30 in transom. Every DF350AMD has electric start, power trim and tilt and the Integrated Steering System as standard. Contact your Mastry dealer for the right rigging for your transom.
