Single-Cylinder, Air-Cooled Diesel Power
The YANMAR L70W and L100W are single-cylinder, air-cooled diesels, the LW series built for the US market. They are variable-speed engines meeting EPA Final Tier 4 with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), rated 6.5 and 9.3 hp at 3600 rpm. YANMAR has built air-cooled diesels since 1959, with more than 1.5 million produced for mobile and stationary off-highway equipment.
Compact direct injection. The traditional compact L design fits cramped spaces without giving up power or performance, and YANMAR’s direct injection means lower running costs.
Quick, easy starting. A special auto-return decompressor and YANMAR’s own combustion system make recoil starting easy, with electric starting offered as an option.
Low vibration and noise. Precision balancers keep vibration and noise down, for operator comfort through long working hours.
