The right engine or system depends on your boat and how you use it. Start with these questions, then talk to a dealer who has seen the boat.
- How large is your boat and what does it weigh?
- Are you repowering an existing boat or specifying a new one?
- How do you use it: cruising, fishing, sailing or commercial work?

How do I buy an engine from Mastry?
Mastry sells through a network of more than 300 dealers and service partners across North America. Use Request a Quote on any product page, or find a dealer near you.
Who installs the engine?
The dealer or Suzuki Repower Center who quotes the job fits the engine, after seeing the boat. Mastry also runs its own service shop and rigging floor in Clearwater, Florida.
I’m repowering. Where do I start?
For a Suzuki outboard, start with Suzuki Repower: package pricing and a Repower Center near you. For a YANMAR inboard diesel, start with YANMAR Marine Repower, which covers engine choice, yard time and choosing an installer.
Will my existing controls work?
Sometimes. Your dealer or Repower Center checks the controls, wiring and rigging and includes anything that needs replacing in the quote.
Can I buy parts online?
Suzuki parts and ECSTAR oil sell online. YANMAR parts are sold through YANMAR dealers and the Mastry parts counter. See Parts.
What warranty comes with a new engine?
